We are currently looking for an energetic, dynamic and enthusiastic Medical Technologist (Laboratory) for Pathology Department.
Job Context
Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital (IIEI&H), as it has been known for over 55 years, is the largest multispecialty eye hospital in Bangladesh. The emphasis is on quality eye care for all socio-economic sections of society. The treatment for every patient is of the same quality, though the facilities vary according to the choice of the patient makes.
Job Description / Responsibility
Clinical Diagnosis:
Process and prepare specimens and samples for testing.
Perform routine laboratory tests and assays independently.
Prepare controls, calibrators, reagents and chemicals and maintain log.
Maintenance of Equipment:
Ensure and perform in-house maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Keep records in order to ensure proper maintenance and safe end appropriate use of equipment to yield quality result.
Assurance of Quality and Bio-safety:
Train and adhere to qualities and biosafety procedure and practices from specimens reception to repost authorization.
Train newly hired staff within the laboratory as well as maintain quality of services.
Perform any other tasks as and when assigned by the supervisor.
