Job Detail:

Job Context

With the fast pace of change globally on innovation and global development, BRAC has outlined an opportunity to expand its preferred mode of engagement to include scaling through influence, generating more knowledge, and working in partnership with diverse stakeholders. These strategic shifts will enable BRAC to increase its direct and indirect impact and ensure it continues to be a trailblazer in how the world alleviates poverty. This shift will require the organization to make several major changes to its capacity and architecture. One important priority in BRAC`s strategic transformation will be the creation of a new team that magnifies the organization`s capability for coordinated program development, partnership management, resource mobilization and organizational learning. This team will serve BRAC`s global needs, serving as a hub and connecting point for in-country leaders and staff, BRAC Stichting office in Netherland, as well as affiliate offices in the USA and UK.
To design and oversee this initiative, the organization is looking for a mission-focused, senior-level, strategic and process-oriented, leader for a Senior Director position. Reporting to and with strategic guidance of the Executive Directors (ED) of BRAC and BRAC International, the position would lead BRAC`s efforts to engage strategic partners, diversify and expand fund mobilization, create systems for organizational learning, and develop a coordination system across BRAC`s affiliates and relevant resources globally. The Senior Director will build a dynamic team, including "indirect" members with relevant roles globally, and supporting a team-based approach to foster greater learning and future focus in the organizational culture.
The position would work very closely with a senior management team of BRAC, and develop cost-efficient, value-driven performance practices within the organization, by collaborating with a group of diverse, talented individuals in BRAC Bangladesh and globally.
