Job Context

Project: Enhancing Incomes, Empowerment and Opportunities for Domestic Workers in Bangladesh
Job Location: Project Office of Nari Maitree, Dhaka.

Job Description / Responsibility

Manage and Coordinate project team, activities, resources, equipment and information
Act as the point of contact for project and communicate project status adequately to donor and all participants
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
Take responsibility for the effective flow of information between donor, team members, and participants in project activities.
Work with team for better implementation of project as per agreement between donor and NM.
Prepare monthly work plan based on the project activities and submit to ED..
Check and analyze the monthly work plan of project staff and approve work plan.
Regular effective communication with Nari Maitree, Donor, GOB, for better implementation of project activities.
Communication with the other Organization and attend the meetings, seminars, workshop for sharing and gather knowledge when needed.
Conducts staff meeting, keep meeting minutes & take necessary action based on the meeting requirement (problem solving, conflict resolution, monitoring and support to staff)
Community meeting with the help of ED and EC committee
Visit field at least 8 days in a month, prepare visit reports & feedback to staff and management.
Identify program and project management related problems and take necessary decision.
Take dynamic initiative for smooth implementation of project activities.
Maintain and preserve project related documentation.
Submit monthly progress report in the first week of next month and submit to the Executive Director.
Evaluate yearly performance of the staff with the help of ED and EC committee
Prepare Quarterly, Half-Yearly, Annual Progress report and submit to the Nari Maitree and Donor.
Provides on the job as well as in-house training to the project staff for capacity building in order to better implementation of the project as well as to gather knowledge on project activities including implementation process.
Team Building and leading from the front in accomplishing the agreed project activities.
Very good skill in English is strongly desired.
