Job Context

Job Description / Responsibility
Plan and execute Consensus Demand Planning and 2nd review processes of assigned product category with effective engagement from Sales & Marketing and other cross functions (in applicable cases) to ensure category objectives are attained in each period.
Conduct Monthly GAP Review (MGR) Meeting and Monthly Forecast Review (MFR) Meeting in achieving the business objective of respective portfolio in dynamic business scenario through devising value adding mechanism and thoughts in demand generating activities.
Review, simulate and apply different statistical model for different brands and Execute Process Chain for Consensus Demand Planning (CDP) and in SAP DP Module to facilitate the interactive planning book for generating various reports and also to enforce forecast process.
Capture, analyze and input Generating Demand events (Trade Schemes etc.); Customer, Consumer & Competitor information; other external / internal trends and influences, which impact demand plan of assigned product categories.
Propose actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Demand Plan for the assigned category. Communicate these actions to stakeholders.
Review the forecast of new products with the New Product Development team and Monitor the sales performance of new products and develop a history that can be used as a guide in future launches.
Propose the category base plan for setting the organization's sales budget for the upcoming years considering the actual sales trends of the assigned brands and incorporating future business strategies.
