Priority will be given to applicants who have prior experience of working on a USAID funded project. Proficiency of working with database management software and excellent communication skills both in English and Bangla are also essential requirements for this position.

Job Context
Advancing Adolescent Health (A2H) project (USAID funded project)
Based at Dhaka with frequent field visit + Duration Up to December 2018
The Project: Advancing Adolescent Health (A2H) is a USAID funded $6,000,000 USD project that aims to empower female and male adolescents to advocate for their own sexual and reproductive health rights, develop standards for adolescent friendly health services and strengthen the facilities and service delivery of government health service providers and other formal and informal providers at the community level through training, supervision and accountability. Ultimate objective of this project is to improve the sexual and reproductive health and well-being of adolescent girls and boys. The project is implemented through two partner organizations- LAMB and ESDO, in eight Upazillas of Rangpur District.
Job Description / Responsibility
Reporting to the Project Director, the Documentation, Communication and Knowledge Management Specialist will be responsible for drafting and managing all project related communication including reporting, capturing best practices, case studies and lessons learned. S/he will be act as an agent of sourcing, synthesizing, documenting and disseminating knowledge about the A2H Project. Other key responsibilities include:
Update the website and social media accounts on a regular basis to increase project visibility at the local, national and global levels
Provide technical support to other A2H project and partner staffs in documentation & communication related activities.
Provide leadership for conceiving, researching and developing A2H-related documentation, publication and communication material
Establish ad hoc and standard reporting system to stimulate analysis and data affecting decisions to enhance experience
Identify knowledge gaps within existing systems and propose streamlined approaches to advance knowledge in adolescent health
Ensure communications are consistent in messaging across the program and aligned with USAID branding regulations.
Maintain a knowledge management system for A2H project to bring new business processes;
Maintain regular collaboration and communication with multi stakeholders including Plan International USA and core Communication team of Plan International Bangladesh Country office to develop all kinds of strategic communication materials
