Educational Qualification:
  • Masters in any discipline from a reputed university with at least 4 years of experience in HR field.
  • MBA in HRM/PGDHRM is preferred

 

Experience:
  • At least 4 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    Administrative, Trainer, Supervision, Legal Aid & Services

 

Requirement:
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and persuasiveness, both internally and externally
  • Strong Leadership Skills
  • Well conversant with HRMS software
  • Fluent in Bangla and English (spoken and written) language skills
  • Excellent IT skills particularly in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook etc.

Job Context

BLAST is a leading national legal aid and human rights organisation in Bangladesh providing legal advice, mediation, and litigation services, and undertaking advocacy to ensure the rights of women, men and children living in poverty or facing discrimination/social exclusion throughout the country. BLAST works through its Head Office in Dhaka and several District-level Offices with a network of panel lawyers and partner organisations.
Position Description: HR Coordinator is a mid-level position and responsible for delivering an effective range of human resource services across the organization.

Job Description / Responsibility

Manage recruitment process to acquire effective workforce for the whole organization;
Assist in compensation and benefits administration throughout the organization;
Ensure that HR Policies and Procedures are updated and are being properly followed;
Ensure HR administrative issues are properly done and recorded as per policy guidelines;
Ensure employee on boarding and orientation;
Coordinate performance management system to ensure highest performance;
Assist in staff development and career planning in line with the vision and goal of the organization;
Assist in change management and organizational development process throughout the organization;
Conduct Training Need Assessment and ensure staff development training are on place on the right time.
Work with the internship management team to manage of national and international internship/volunteer placement;
Participate in senior management meetings and contribute to the organizational decision making process related to HR Policies, standard and development, strategic planning process, organizational development and review;
Perform any other tasks as may be required by the management from time to time.
