  • At least 5 years software development experience, especially by using the languages of PHP, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • S/he is expected to have good understanding of the Object Orient Programming [OOP], Web Programming (Java Script) and basics of the android and web based development.
  • Since the incumbent will work with a data centric application, therefore, s/he needs to have sound knowledge on the database basics and be able to maintain and update existing SQL queries and optimize them if necessary.

This position is under a new component of MaMoni-HSS program focusing on building the managerial and technical capacity of the NIPORT to develop and implement a capacity-building program for the community level workers, their supervisors and first level managers to deliver the community-based health interventions of the new ESP (Essential Services Package).

Job Description / Responsibility

The Deputy Manager-Software Development will be mainly responsible for developing the PHP/HTML and JavaScript based frontend for the web applications and document the entire process.
S/he will execute and update the routine queries on the database following the guidelines from Manager-HMIS and provide technical guidance to the Senior Officer and the end users.
The incumbent will coordinate with GoB officials on the requirement analysis and deliverables.
S/he will also prepare the test environment, liaise with the programmers and other stakeholders, understand the problem faced in the field level implementation, identify and provide technical guidance and on hand support required to resolve issues.
