  • At least 6 years of experience, preferably with training/ capacity-building process in health related programs, a very good understanding of the Bangladesh health systems will be an advantage.
  • Candidates will get preference who have the relevant project experience.
  • S/he is expected to have hands-on experience in assessing training institutions, developing tools for monitoring capacity-building and ability to close monitoring of the training programs to track the progress.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong writing skills in English and coordination skills, particularly with relevant govt. officials.

Save the Children invites application for the above position. This position is under a new component of MaMoni-HSS program focusing on building the managerial and technical capacity of the NIPORT to develop and implement a capacity-building program for the community level workers, their supervisors and first level managers to deliver the community-based health interventions of the new ESP (Essential Services Package).

Job Description / Responsibility

The Manager-Training Coordination is mainly responsible to coordinate the process of development of capacity-building package for first-line supervisors of government CHWs, and will also coordinate with the training unit of NIPORT and MaMoni HSS team to develop a training calendar for CHWs, supervisors and upazila level managers.
S/he will work closely with the curriculum development team and ensure timely revision of all in-service and pre-service training curriculums for CHWs.
In addition, s/he will support NIPORT to establish contractual arrangements with BSMMU to conduct the SLMTP program successfully for the Upazilla level managers, monitor the activities of Training Quality Monitors by periodic visit and develop, test and deploy tools and checklists for ongoing monitoring of the quality of capacity-building activities at RTC and HQ levels.
