  • Experienced in the design and implementation of M&E/MIS in development projects implemented by national/international NGOs/UN bodies/ Government.
  • Working experience at Grant project as DME/proven skills on Grant acquisition project design.
  • Experienced in leadership and management position.
  • ICT skills, especially in the development of MIS software using different database software.
  • Understand holistic and transformational development.
  • Demonstrated competencies in designing and implementing DME systems.
  • Knowledge of DME theories, systems, processes, methodology and tools.
  • Must have knowledge of various response and development in sectors and interventions such as shelter, WASH, food, health, livelihoods, education.
  • Proven Management competencies.
  • Should be able to multitask and to work with minimum supervision.
  • Possess proven analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Requires good interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Must be able to continually adopt to new challenges as the roles are fluid and dynamic.
  • Experience in design and facilitation of training programs.

Job Description / Responsibility

To lead the development and application of DME strategy, framework, systems and standards for all of World Vision Bangladesh (WVB) programs and projects and ensure for alignment and compliance with WV Partnership standards (DME, Program effectiveness).
Lead, manage and build a strong integrated team to implement the strategic intent and requirements of DME. Work with National Office (NO) DME and technical teams (sectors) to ensure quality programming and adherence to program framework and protocols (project models, programming tools) as well as mainstreaming of cross-cutting issues (Gender, Environment, Protection, Peace Building, Disability and Christian Commitments).
To ensure that all DME and information management processes and products align with WV Partnership and best industry standards and facilitate learning and decision making at community and organizational levels.
Oversee and execute a utilization - focused approach to M&E collecting performance indicators to support on-going decision-making, strategic project modification and understanding of the project's impact on target populations.
Develop competencies-based capacity assessment tool based on guidance/mandates of M&E Core Competencies to systematically identify gaps in M & E related skills to tailor training and supportive supervision processes.
Train and mentor DME and technical staff on DME framework.
To lead and manage Information Management (Horizon) and Knowledge, research, innovation and learning to ensure that data and information is shared, stored and disseminated to appropriate audience that learning and research is in line with WVB's strategic priorities.
To ensure that WVB practices community accountability as per WV program accountability framework.
