Save the Children invites applications for the following position for an Alternative Primary Education Program (APEP). This program will be operated through a consortium partners of NGO and INGOs to support out of school children, including those who have never enrolled or dropped out for any reason, to complete primary education through flexible learning strategies. The APEP aims to support a maximum of 100,000 out of school children (aged 8-14) to complete their primary education and catalyze support across government and other stakeholders for a coordinated, multi-sectoral approach to education at the national level. Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply. Minimum requirements will be flexible for the potential female candidates. This position is contractual for 9 months initially with possibility of long term extension.

Manager - Project Operations - SHIKHON
(1 position based in Dhaka)


The Manager will responsible for developing efficient operation system of SHIKHON program and ensuring effective program operation.
S/he will provide operational leadership to the implementing partner organization and lead the operational staff at central level.
S/he will maintain liaison with partner NGOs, consortium team and government officials at central, regional and local levels and assuring quality implementation in different areas.
S/he will assist in planning, setting up of strategy, and financial oversight for the effective intervention in raising the overall quality of non-formal primary education for out of school children in Bangladesh.
