Educational Qualification:

  • S/he is expected to have sound knowledge on education system and policies imperatives in Bangladesh and experience in building capacity to relevant interventions.
  • Excellent skills on curriculum and materials development on NFPE activities, excellent inter-personal communication skills.

Save the Children invites applications for the following position for an Alternative Primary Education Program (APEP). This program will be operated through a consortium partners of NGO and INGOs to support out of school children, including those who have never enrolled or dropped out for any reason, to complete primary education through flexible learning strategies. The APEP aims to support a maximum of 100,000 out of school children (aged 8-14) to complete their primary education and catalyze support across government and other stakeholders for a coordinated, multi-sectoral approach to education at the national level. Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply. Minimum requirements will be flexible for the potential female candidates. This position is contractual for 9 months initially with possibility of long term extension.

Manager - Curriculum, Materials and Capacity Building - SHIKHON
(1 position based in Dhaka)


The Manager will responsible to design, develop, adopt and assist in developing NFPE and ECD curriculum and related materials of SHIKHON rural model APEP.
S/he will provide support to partners for preparing the teaching-learning materials and for developing guideline as well as providing training to the relevant counter parts.
S/he will assist and participate in research/study on usability and impact of teaching-learning materials and develop an effective team for primary education.
