Educational Qualification:

Experience:

At least 5 years’ experience, preferably in education program in similar settings, working experience in partnership with NGOs/GOB will be preferred.

 

Requirement:

  • S/he is expected to have sound knowledge of the education system and understanding on primary education in relation to SCE programming. Save the Children invites applications for the following position for an Alternative Primary Education Program (APEP). This program will be operated through a consortium partners of NGO and INGOs to support out of school children, including those who have never enrolled or dropped out for any reason, to complete primary education through flexible learning strategies. The APEP aims to support a maximum of 100,000 out of school children (aged 8-14) to complete their primary education and catalyze support across government and other stakeholders for a coordinated, multi-sectoral approach to education at the national level. Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply. Minimum requirements will be flexible for the potential female candidates. This position is contractual for 9 months initially with possibility of long term extension.

Deputy Manager - Technical Compliance and Capacity Building
(2 positions based in field)

Responsibilities:

The Deputy Manager is part of consortium and will responsible to assist SM-TCCB for reviewing the curriculum of all models of Second Chance Education (SCE).
She/he will also visit fields and monitor training programs of our partners regularly for improving the quality of program operation and training.
The DM will take part in the planning, developing of curriculum and materials to help support SM-TCCB for assuring quality of programs.
The DM-TCCB will conduct action research and share the findings with the TCCB Team for wider dissemination.
