Educational Qualification:

At least 7 years of experience in supporting and/or coordinating the implementation of any education programs in similar settings, including 3 years in management position, working experience in partnership with NGOs/GOB will be preferred.


  • S/he is expected to have sound knowledge on education system and policies, particularly in primary education in relation to NFPE programming.
  • Excellent skills on curriculum and materials development on NFPE activities

Save the Children invites applications for the following position for an Alternative Primary Education Program (APEP). This program will be operated through a consortium partners of NGO and INGOs to support out of school children, including those who have never enrolled or dropped out for any reason, to complete primary education through flexible learning strategies. The APEP aims to support a maximum of 100,000 out of school children (aged 8-14) to complete their primary education and catalyze support across government and other stakeholders for a coordinated, multi-sectoral approach to education at the national level. Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply. Minimum requirements will be flexible for the potential female candidates. This position is contractual for 9 months initially with possibility of long term extension.

Senior Manager - Technical Compliance and Capacity Building
(1 position based in Dhaka)


The Senior Manager is part of the consortium team and s/he will lead the technical component of APEP program and provide technical leadership to all program models. S/he will ensure technical compliance and quality assurance of each models.
S/he will ensure in developing, designing and adopting appropriate and effective Curriculum for Out of School Children and related materials for each APEP model.
S/he also provide technical advice in developing/improving teaching-learning materials of the partner organizations of the consortium.
S/he will lead the development process of the training and materials guidelines and manuals, provide training to the relevant counter parts, support and monitor the activities in the field.
Her/his responsibilities include staff supervision, providing on the job training, mentoring and coaching for continuous professional development and nurturing for an encouraging working environment.
