Job Description / Responsibility
To ensure the efficient running of the hotel through achieving budgeted Associate Satisfaction, Guest Satisfaction and GOP results for each area.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Align management style, working practices and conduct with Le Meridien Dhaka and Mariott's vision, corporate values, operating standards and policies. To comply with Marriott's code of conduct at all times.
Build solid relationships with owning company, understand their requirements and keep them abreast of the hotel's performance.
Provide advice and support to Marriott International Pacific Division and Executive Committee.
Understand the meaning and implications of key internal and external financial indicators; manage overall financial performance; use sound financial analysis to evaluate strategic and investment options
Add value through revenue growth and operational efficiency through process improvement; understand and focus on the key drivers of sales, associate and customer satisfaction, profitability, and quality
Provide direction and vision for all direct reports promoting a free flow of information; encourage the open expression of ideas and opinions.
Demonstrate honesty, reliability, ethics, and professionalism; demonstrate consistency between words & behavior.
Attract and retain high potentials; coach and develop others; communicate views about performance honestly and directly, while consistently recognizing and rewarding good performance

Actively participate in sales presentations, property tours and customer meetings.
To lead and personally be involved in the "caring for community" program.
Monitor programs that maintain the condition of hotel assets. Coordinate capital improvement projects to maintain/upgrade quality standards and property image, and to protect assets from neglect, damage or deterioration.
Be well versed and knowledgeable of the hotels Fire Evacuation and all Emergency procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the Workplace. Ensure associates are aware of their duty of care as determined by legislation and that they maintain complete familiarity.
