Requirement:

  • Practical working experience in finance and procurement for at least 3 years. Experience of working with NGO/INGO
  • Experience in dealing with logistical activities.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of financial planning, financial operation, financial rules and regulations, budget control, VAT and Tax
  • Good command in budget control, forecasting quarterly expenditure and general administration.
  • Good understanding of procurement related rules and regulations.
  • Ability to take decision, to plan proactively without supervision & ability to optimize the use of available resources.
  • Good command in Tally software will be considered as an added advantage.
  • Other attributes.

Job Context

The key purpose of this position is to manage and control Finance and Procurement related activities for the project `Improved WASH Services at Makeshift Camps in Cox`s Bazar` to ensure effective implementation of WASH interventions maintaining standards and quality by ensuring necessary finance & procurement based support to the project. Being an implementation partner of UNICEF, NGO Forum is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the `Improved WASH Services at Makeshift Camps in Cox`s Bazar project`.She/he is responsible to support the project team in all manners relating to effective management of project finance and procurement aspects of the project. At the same time, he/she must have ability to fulfill reporting requirements of the organization, donors and other financial institutions.

Job Description / Responsibility

Implement day-to-day finance and procurement related support in line with NGO Forum and UNICEF financial and procurement policies, procedures and requirements.
Procurement of different construction, water treatment and other materials for different service centres.
Maintaining and updating stock, staff and leave registers.
Preparation of requisition whenever available materials are below threshold level.
Store house maintenance and monitoring
Collection of quotation, CS making including bill summaries and preparing other supporting documents with bills and vouchers.
Providing additional support to project activities time to time.
Preparing weekly and monthly procurement plans.
Perform other duties relevant to the project as required.
Ensure compliance with income Tax and VAT regulations, especially in term of salary, benefits, procurement of goods and services.
Responsible for all procurement of goods and services under NGO Forum project
