Required Knowledge & Skills

In-depth expertise on telecom product management and retention knowledge, micro segmentation & campaign management, market research, market dynamics and demographics
Sound knowledge of segmentation, pricing methodology and business strategy
Experience in driving a team for the development of marketing campaigns as well as clear understanding of customer segmentation, targeted marketing communication & analytics
Hands on customer lifecycle management knowledge, Deep insight into competitive environment in Telecom industry
Strong collaboration and team management skills in negotiating & managing cross-functional stakeholders & projects
Ability to work individually and with a team with the capacity to multitask and to balance competing priorities for self as well as the team under stress

Product Senior Manager - Data Business

Major Responsibilities

Recommend and present segment strategy, pricing & promotions, initiatives and road maps in line with acquisition, device, content and digital strategy and market share targets to Head of Segments
Observe and evaluate the performance of existing products and services, suggest techniques for improvement and identify opportunities for segment growth by conducting detailed market survey, industry and customer analysis and report findings to support development of effective action plans
Administer the execution of approved Product strategy and assess technical requirements for new products, design and supervise implementation of Data Enthusiast segment campaigns, to contribute to the achievement of interim, annual revenue, sub base & market share business targets.
Liaise with Sales and Customer Care teams to receive post-launch feedback and take corrective actions as required, supervise their implementation after discussion with relevant stakeholders.
Measure, track and report on major campaign results and financial impacts of key initiatives, partnering with analytics, data warehouse and finance teams and analyze of the campaigns in comparison with the control group to find out the incremental revenue & keep tracking of the industry to check what others are offering and retaliate if necessary.
Engage team members to Interact with IT team to extract and consolidate information pertaining to subscribers for identification of churn patterns in Data Enthusiast segment;
Provide input in the formulation of win back campaigns for dormant customers through utilization and evaluation of different churn prediction models, campaign management & CRM tools;
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to configure the initiatives in the system for successful rollout of ATL and BTL campaigns and oversee progress and keep the management informed against set timelines and objectives;
Proactively monitor competitor’s offers and take actions to challenge promotions to ensure customer retention.
