RDRS Bangladesh is inviting applications to fill the position of Admin-Accounts Officer, No Lean Season Project under Microfinance Program.
Job Description / Responsibility
Major responsibilities of Accounts and Admin Officer, NLS Project under MF Program will be as follows:
1. Administrative Responsibilities
Undertake the management of all administrative correspondence with RDRS line management.
Answer phone calls, direct calls to the appropriate member of staff and take messages.
Deal with No Lean Season project incoming & outgoing mail.
Organise & book venues for various meetings and events.
Maintain and update computerized & manual filing systems.
To support the Coordinator (MF) & Project Manager in the governance of the RDRS administrative aspects of different meetings and submitting returns to relevant bodies.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as deemed appropriate.
2. Accounts Responsibilities
Maintain accurate project accounts.
Preserve/maintain all accounts related documents & records properly& safely at the HQ.
Preserve the cheque books/issue register of bank accounts operated by the HQ.
Arrange the payment against bill approve by the competent authority and preserve vouchers/documents properly.
Maintain Cash Book/General Ledger/Subsidiary Ledger and related documents as required.
Arrange to pay the advances (bicycle/rain coat etc.) as approved by the respective authority and maintain documents as prescribed.
Time to time visit the branches and check of the records, related voucher & documents and guide the respective staff as needed.
Prepare all the financial reports/statements regularly on monthly/quarterly basis with the assistance of Coordinator (MF-Accounts) and provide these to respective authority within time frame.
Prepared monthly Bank reconcile report.
Provide assistance for any type of procurement at HQ level.
Face the internal/external audit as needed.
Fulfill such other functions as may be assigned to him/her by the higher authority.
Ensure that financial systems and the controls are in place.
Carry out any other tasks as may be considered necessary by RDRS management
