SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL is looking for a DRIVER

SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL is an international humanitarian organization based in Paris, France, which provides aid and assistance to victims of war and natural disasters. For the past 35 years, the organization’s vocation has been to meet the three vital needs - drinking, eating and sheltering – of vulnerable populations around the world. Our programs mainly focus on emergency relief actions related to water and sanitation but also related to food security as well as shelter and infrastructure rehabilitation and reconstruction.

Driver

Affectation: Dhaka, Bangladesh
Start of the activities: As soon as possible
Duration of the contract: June 30, 2017 (with possibility of extension)

I. Responsibilities and description of tasks:

The driver drives Solidarités International vehicles for transporting goods and people, according to Solidarités International procedures.
Maintain the vehicle and his/her equipment and ensure the safety of all passengers
Supervise the loading and unloading of the vehicle as well as the organization and safety of packages in his/her vehicle
Fill in the log-book and monitoring documents
Ensure that there is enough fuel for each trip
Respect the traffic rules and security rules according to SI procedures
