Job Detail:

Position: Senior Sector Specialist, Poultry & Livestock, TUP

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Ensure effective implementation of Livestock and Poultry related strategies and activities at the division level on time and provide required technical support accordingly.
Conduct staff capacity development in Livestock and Poultry related knowledge through different types of technical training, workshop, meeting and field visit
Engage and train Sector Specialist (Poultry and Livestock) to provide technical training to field staff.
Ensure quality assets through monitoring asset quality and provide required guidance and services for the wellbeing of the given livestock
Ensure all relevant annual, quarterly and monthly plans for effective execution of the programme activities as stipulated in the project document
Analyse all relevant report along with monitoring and quality controls report and take necessary initiatives to ensure effective implementation
Ensure proper services to the participants through establishing linkages with relevant departments of government, non-government as well as BRAC
Explore quality inputs(vaccine, medicine, feed, fodder, appropriate ration package) for Livestock and Poultry and ensure timely supply to participants through line management
Support the manager(Poultry and Livestock) to develop and prepare training module ,training plan, relevant materials, all necessary subject matter documents, monitoring plans and ensure that activities are in line with achieving expected outputs
Assist to bring innovation in specific context to add value in each relevant field which will drive effectiveness and sustainability.
