M.Sc in Veterinary Science/ Animal Husbandry from any recognized university or institution with all second class/division or equivalent CGPA in all academic examinations
Minimum 4 years of experience in Livestock sector and have experience in market analysis, value chain development and business planning with successful implementation of technical knowledge
Strong communication and presentation skills
Have writing skills on technical papers and training modules
Have training facilitation capacity
Have sound analytical and decision making capability, dynamic and team player
Have basic computer knowledge

Position: Manager, Poultry & Livestock, TUP
Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly plans specially focused on Livestock and Poultry for effective execution of programme activities, preparing enterprise specific budget, cash flow chart and activity follow up mechanism for achievement of desired programme goal.
Supervise activities on specific livestock based enterprises, regularly monitor and track progress along with quality control team to identify challenges related to specific enterprise and resolve the challenge promptly for smooth service delivery and achieve desire change.
Staff capacity development in livestock and poultry related knowledge through different types of technical training, workshop, meeting, seminar etc.
Coordinate and collaborate with different government agencies e.g. Department of Livestock Services (DLS), research institutions, private sector, other BRAC programmes and other NGO’s to accumulate policy, research and practice related information, as well as disseminate acquired knowledge to other team members.
Knowledge management on livestock and poultry enterprise through different data analysis, report generation, sharing of challenge identification and learning as well as showcasing successful cases in front of external/internal audience
Introduce new cost effective innovative techniques within prgramme
Ensure timely distribution of various enterprise specific inputs and services at field level through develop necessary planning both on the supply and demand side
Development of technical training modules BCC materials for TUP staffs and beneficiaries to ensure appropriate technical knowledge dissemination and service delivery to participants through necessary steps
Assist programme management in decision making specially on technical issues
