To provide managerial, data entry, logistics support and monitoring Nutrition project of malnourished Children, pregnant and lactating woman nutrition program in host communities under Ukhiya and Teknaf upazila of Cox`s Bazar district
Job Description / Responsibility
Is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the project as designed, Using the technical monitoring tools, including close follow-up of programme performance indicators.
Ensure all quality logistic support in the final distribution point as well as upazilla level.
To liaise and coordinate with UNS and CNW to approach the standard performance in area of intervention.
Prepare the monthly action plan( It includes Visit schedule of SFP/ OTP sites) and share with PC & TCN, IMCN
She/ He will spend 70% time at the field and 30% for official work.
Monitor the community Nutrition Worker 's activity :the quality of service provided through nutrition program by the CNWs (screening, detection and referral mechanism admission and treatment of SAM and MAM cases in the OTP sites and MAM cases in the SFP sites.
Supervise the implementation of standard treatment protocols in the field.
Identify the needs in the distribution points.
Assist Logistic supervisor to ensure the food commodities in the community nutrition center and upazilla level.
Assist Nutritionist in the preparation of food requisition and report compilation.
Report collection from the UNS timely any problem related to the quality of nutrition program report to PC and Nutritionist.
Verify the stock position of SFP +/ RUTF and non- food items and medications prepared by Union nutrition supervisors.
Ensure the proper utilization and use of food and non-food items according to the standard protocols in nutrition program.
Ensure the proper stock management at field level for food, non-food and medications are in place.
Make sure that the beneficiaries are receiving and consuming the ration according to the standard protocols.
Conduct physical inventories at distributions point as well as in the office stock.
Ensure the quality of materials while purchasing/procuring
Report timely any problem related to the supply chain and utilization of food, non-food and medications in nutrition program to the PC IMCN.
If there is any inconsistency with physical balance with the theoretical balance, it to be properly examine the causes and to be recorded and to be informed PC and Nutritionist in details.
Make sure that nutrition supervisors are using standard reporting formats.
Make sure that daily, weekly and monthly record of beneficiaries (admissions, cured, defaulters, death, transfer, gain of weight, length of stay, etc) is in place and staff of nutrition program is able to fulfill efficiently.
Collection, compilation and analysis of the monthly reports from nutrition program) and submission to the PC/ nutritionist.
Establish good working relationship with all the partners (MoHFW, local partners CC, UHC, UHFWC) and the official authorities including the local union Chairman and members and timely communication of program related progress with them.
Make sure that close follow up and feedback system is in place for the referral cases (OTP sites, health centers, Upazila Health Complexes).
Attend and represent SHED during coordination meetings at the upazilla level in coordination with PC & nutritionist.
