- Essentials to have adequate knowledge on local rules, regulations, regulators, professional bodies, competitors, IDRA, BB, NBR, SEC, etc. Basic knowledge of Legal, Life Insurance software- systems, socio-political environment, etc. would be an added advantage.

We are looking for Head of Compliance & Internal Control (Top Level Position, VP to SEVP)
Develop the unit to be a center of excellence in assessing & reporting on the adequacy of the Compliance & Internal Control environment (i.e. both primary and secondary) in safeguarding Company`s reputed & financial losses and ensuring both local Senior Management and MANCOM Team can rely on the work being done. Ensure that local management has fully considered and effectively managed its Compliance and Operational risk.
Job Description / Responsibility
Effectively establishing Policy, Manuals, Guidelines, Checklists, Review programmes and Strategies for unique & sound direction of Company's operations to achieve business objective in a compliant & cost-effective manner.
Ensure that a robust primary and secondary Compliance & Control environment is in place in the Company.
Ensure all recommendations appearing in various internal, external, regulatory audit. Compliance Review reports are implemented in an appropriate manner.
Obtain information on the latest auditing and compliance/ control standards and guidelines from IDRA and other professional associations.
Ensure a sound compliance & control culture persists in the Company and enhance competency of other department.
Ensure proper reporting & certifications and operational processing ensuring service level expectations are met or exceeded.
Maintain a good relationship with, and presenting a professional image of the unit to, local regulators, internal/external auditors, businesses, and MANCOM and providing them with the required information.
