Position : Product Manager

Job Description / Responsibility

Managing the entire product/ products life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to customers and non-customers
Driving a solution set for each product development/Improvement through market requirements, product contract, and positioning
Monitoring primary and secondary sales of each product and report growth or decline to CMO
Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all cross functional departments to execute
Analyzing Competition and propose campaign plan
Conducts periodical market visits and periodical brand valuation
Bill processing and follow-up for responsible product
Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product. This involves printed and electronic promotional material, product training, and relevant papers through following brand guidelines in consultation with CMO.
Responsible for reviewing product data to ensure that the field force is kept up to date on new developments regarding the companies or competitors' products.
Act as point of first reference for each product related enquiries and work collaboratively to address any issues that may arise.
Close liaison with the sales admin to assess the response to and suitability of current promotional material and to ensure that the printed promotional material is being used optimally.
Design market research projects to assess customer attitudes to the current product range and new product introductions in consultation with CMO and executed by business intelligence/ research team
Assist CMO with the development of the annual marketing communication plan and for controlling advertising, promotion and sales aids/offers in accordance with the annual marketing plan
Responsible for preparing product forecasts, and constantly monitoring inventory levels held at central and interstate warehouses including liaison with production to ensure supply timelines
Liaise with the internal marketing and brand services team regarding the product campaign including advertising, direct mail and conferences, events media etc
Work with the Sales Department to prepare sales forecasts and budgets, monitor sales volume, revenues and cost against forecast and adapt plans to improve the sales performance of the products and services
Contribution to key projects, organizational projects as assigned - Cost saving initiatives; better negotiation/ pricing, new product development
