This individual will effectively perform sales transactions by building a developed client base through an electronic client book and relationship building tools. Additionally, this individual will support and exemplify company standards of offering excellent service by utilizing consultative selling, product expertise and proactive follow up.
The successful individual will assist customers with merchandise selections with strategic selling techniques and product knowledge in person and over the phone. Meet and exceed annual sales plan. Transact sales and all store related activities while adhering to company policy and procedures. Enter and maintain client data in on-line client book. Respond to all client inquiries in an appropriate and timely manner. Develop and maximize customer base through client registry and other sales tools to achieve annual sales target. Utilize the client book system to proactively communicate on important occasions and event giving options. Project the company history and tradition in all customer interactions. Support management and branch by working as a team with store operations, personal shoppers and gift consultants to maximize overall sales potential and participate as appropriate in branch implementation of division initiatives.
This position requires a willingness to work non-traditional business hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Additionally, proficiency in Point of Sales (POS) system, Merchandise Inventory Processing System (MIPS) and Wedding and Gift Registry systems is preferred.
